About the role

Solana Energy is seeking a passionate and motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team in Newcastle. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside our skilled electricians, while also completing your formal electrical training. This is a full-time role, offering the chance to build a rewarding career in the electrical and renewable industry.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical renewable systems and equipment
• Learn to interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
• Develop practical skills in electrical wiring, testing, and troubleshooting
• Participate in on-the-job training and work towards completion of your electrical apprenticeship
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, following all safety protocols
• Provide general support to the electrical team as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: From $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 60 per week
