2 Years Old - Preschool Teacher

Position Title: Two-Year-Old Preschool Teacher
Location: Garden Grove, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation: $21 – $25 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)​

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Preschool Teacher to lead our two-year-old classroom. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, a strong understanding of developmental milestones, and the ability to create a safe and engaging learning environment.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster cognitive, emotional, and social development.​
• Utilize a variety of educational techniques, including storytelling, music, art, sensory and play-based learning, to engage children.​
• Observe and assess each child's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and caregivers.​
• Encourage positive interactions among children and guide them in resolving conflicts.​
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards.​
• Collaborate with fellow educators to plan and coordinate activities and share best practices.​
• Communicate effectively with parents to build strong partnerships and support each child's development.​

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, including infant and toddler development courses.​
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.​
• At least 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.​
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.​
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.​
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.​
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements.​
