About The Role

Join Cater Care as one of 2 Casual Cleaners at our education site in Alice Springs. Your work will help keep the campus clean, safe, and inviting for everyone on-site.

You’ll handle general cleaning across offices and communal areas, with no bed-making, plus optional laundry tasks. We offer flexible morning and afternoon shifts and a friendly, supportive team. Cleaning or laundry experience is great - but we’re happy to train the right person.

Roster: Flexible morning and afternoon shifts available across cleaning and laundry duties.

What This Role Involves

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and waste removal
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery in a safe and effective manner
• Carry out laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens or uniforms as required
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all site areas, including classrooms, communal spaces, restrooms, and offices
• Adherence to health, safety, and hygiene procedures

Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Previous cleaning and/or laundry experience (preferred but not essential)
• A friendly, professional approach to service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• A valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Willingness to learn - training provided for the right applicant
