The Metro Group, Inc. is currently looking for an Account Manager. The selected individual will manage business relationships with customers to ensure accurate and timely responsiveness to customer concerns, increased product penetration, and retention of the customer. Responsibilities include account management, new business development, and growth.
The Account Manager will focus on new, business to business account development. Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments with prospects, presenting programs, renewing current contracts, and delivering a sales quota. Account Managers are also responsible for customer satisfaction, by responding to customer requests, pro-active problem solving and meeting productivity goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year outside ("hunter") sales experience
New business to business (B2B) sales experience preferred
“Hunter” sales mentality- goal driven and self-motivated
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous customer service experience in an industrial or service industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet physical requirement of position
