THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to grow revenue across NZME’s Real Estate category, with a strong focus on OneRoof Digital. You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of key clients, building deep, trusted relationships while uncovering new opportunities that drive revenue, yield and long-term growth.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll partner closely with clients to understand their business goals, develop tailored media strategies and position NZME as their media partner of choice. You’ll also play an active role in identifying and converting new business opportunities within the category.

HOW YOU’LL DO IT

You’ll manage and grow your accounts through proactive, planned engagement, developing annual strategies for long-term clients alongside your manager. You’ll deliver integrated advertising solutions across NZME’s full product suite — digital, print and radio — with OneRoof Digital at the core.

You’ll regularly review performance against budget, conversion and yield targets, ensuring profitable growth within agreed parameters. Working collaboratively with internal teams, you’ll enhance the customer experience, improve efficiency and identify inventory and yield opportunities. You’ll also maintain accurate CRM records, contribute to forecasting and provide clear reporting on risks, opportunities and performance.

ABOUT YOU

You bring proven experience in account management and new business development, ideally within a fast-paced, audience-focused sales environment. You have a strong understanding of the New Zealand media or digital landscape and a natural ability to build trust-based client relationships.

You’re commercially savvy, confident in negotiation and skilled at designing customer-centric solutions. You communicate clearly, work well across teams and take pride in delivering high service standards. You’re adaptable, data-informed and committed to your own professional growth, while consistently demonstrating integrity and NZME’s values.
