Accountant

We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be in charge of overseeing our daily financial activities, producing precise financial statements, and maintaining adherence to all relevant accounting and regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the company's books of accounts, including the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. This includes handling the General Journal, Cash Receipts/Disbursements, Sales, and Purchase Journals.

Prepare, analyze, and generate key financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, such as the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, and Trial Balance.

Conduct regular bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow and bank balances, and oversee daily banking operations.

Perform reconciliation of vendor statements to ensure accuracy and facilitate timely payments.

Handle all tax-related duties, including the preparation and filing of BIR reports such as VAT (2550M/Q) if required, Income Tax (1702Q/1702), and various Withholding Taxes (1601C, 1604E, 0619E), along with required Alphalists (2316, 2307).

Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Provide support to broader finance functions, including budget tracking, financial forecasting, and cost management.

Uphold strict compliance with all local laws, accounting principles, and internal company policies.

Assist with audits and other statutory requirements.

Perform other related accounting duties as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.

A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in an accounting role.

Demonstrated proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc.).

Strong understanding of relevant tax legislation and compliance protocols.

Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

A keen eye for detail and the capacity to manage tight deadlines.
