Accountant

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or any related field
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. Accounting Records Management

  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the company’s accounting records.
  • Assist in developing and improving accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.

II. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including:
  • Balance Sheet
  • Income Statement
  • Cash Flow Statement
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance.

III. Tax Compliance and Filing

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all required tax returns.
  • Monitor compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with relevant authorities on tax-related matters when necessary.
  • Processing documents and coordinating with government agencies.

IV. Payroll Support

  • Assist the HR or the payroll officer in the preparation and processing of semi-monthly payroll.
  • Ensure accuracy in salary computation, statutory deductions, and related reports.
  • Prepare a monthly payroll report and budget

V. System and Process Improvement

  • Recommend and support the implementation of accounting systems, formulas, and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance on best practices in financial management and reporting.

VI. Consultation and Advisory

  • Provide ongoing financial consultation and support to management.
  • Attend meetings as required to address accounting concerns and provide strategic financial advice.

VI. Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial and company-sensitive information.
  • Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Support internal and external audits as needed.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
