Accounting Assistant

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily financial operations in a retail setting. The ideal candidate will assist with data entry, invoice processing, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate financial records to ensure smooth and efficient accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and process daily sales transactions and receipts
• Prepare and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payments
• Reconcile cash, bank, and sales reports with accounting records
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documents
• Coordinate with store staff for inventory and expense records
• Support the accounting team with general administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• At least 1 year of experience in an accounting is required.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php18,000.00 per month
