Accounting Associate

Job Summary:
The Accounting Associate – General Accounting is responsible for supporting the finance team by processing and monitoring daily collection receipts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of buyer-related transactions, reconciling assigned balance sheet accounts, and assisting in the consolidation and validation of financial data. The role requires close attention to detail, adherence to company procedures, and collaboration with other departments to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and monitor daily collection receipts through Real Estate Batch posting, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts on a regular basis.
• Consolidate MRI collections and validate buyer-related transactions.
• Review and resolve CCMS tickets related to buyer collections and financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Perform other finance or accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 1–2 years of experience in general accounting or related finance functions
• Knowledge of accounting principles, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
