Accounting Associate

An Accounting Associate supports the finance and accounting team by handling financial transactions, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key responsibilities include:

1. Financial Transactions Processing

• Record and process invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Ensure timely processing of financial transactions.

2. General Accounting Support

• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

3. Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements for management.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and trends.
• Assist in budget tracking and forecasting.

4. Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure transactions comply with financial policies and regulations.
• Assist in tax filings and audits by providing required financial documents.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records.

5. Communication and Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding payments and financial inquiries.
• Support senior accountants and finance managers in daily tasks.
• Respond to accounting-related queries from stakeholders.

6. Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
• Assist in implementing accounting software and automation tools.
