Requirements
As Accounting Manager, you will lead our Swedish accounting department of seven employees where you will combine your strong accounting expertise with people leadership and international collaboration. The team manages accounting for both the parent company and some international subsidiaries in countries such as the UK, Canada, and Australia. You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, lead the preparation of interim reports, contribute to the work on the annual and sustainability report and secure compliance with laws and regulations.
You will handle some current accounting recording, plan and coordinate monthly reporting, manage audits, be involved in the group consolidations, and take responsibility for advanced tasks such as international VAT, tax calculations and income tax returns. You will work closely with controllers, HR payroll and be main responsible regarding contact with external advisors in different countries to ensure alignment and accuracy across the group.
Your leadership will be important in guiding and supporting your team, foster collaboration and create a work environment where everyone contributes towards common goals.
Examples of your main responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the accounting team in Sweden
- Oversee accounting and reporting for SSC and international subsidiaries
- Prepare interim reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting legislation and internal policies
- Tax calculations and Income tax returns for the parent company
- Manage audits
- Approve supplier and payroll payments
- Support HR and controllers with accounting-related questions.
- Involved in group consolidation.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, Unit4 FPM, Excel, Word.
Responsibilities
You are an experienced accounting professional with solid knowledge of Swedish accounting principles and preferably IFRS. You thrive in a role that combines structure, accuracy, and leadership. As a person, you are social, communicative, and enjoy creating clarity and collaboration in your team.
You likely have a background from an international company and are used to handling cross-border accounting. You enjoy taking ownership, setting direction, and developing both processes and people.
We believe you have:
- Strong knowledge in accounting and financial reporting (Swedish GAAP, IFRS)
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience from international companies and cross-border accounting
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
- A structured, and collaborative mindset
- Knowledge in group reporting and consolidation.

LOCATION
This is a full-time, permanent position based at our office in Solna. The policy states 3 days per week at the office for full time employees. You will report to the Head of Finance control and be included in a group of Accounting managers from five different countries.
