About the Role:
Join a dynamic healthcare team as an Accounts Administrator, where your financial expertise will directly support the seamless operation of the company. This pivotal role combines financial management with a commitment to quality care, offering the chance to collaborate across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations:
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable/receivable processes, including invoice verification, supplier statement reconciliation, and timely payment execution.
- Generate precise resident care invoices, liaise with families/guardians, and coordinate with funding bodies (e.g., HSE, private insurers) to ensure compliant billing practices.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations, promptly addressing discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage full-cycle payroll administration, including wage calculations, statutory deductions (PAYE, PRSI), and resolving employee payroll inquiries.
Budgeting & Compliance:
- Support financial planning through budget monitoring, cash flow analysis, and reporting on variances.
- Ensure adherence to Irish healthcare financial regulations (HIQA, HSE) and organizational policies, while preparing audit-ready documentation.
Administrative Excellence:
- Maintain meticulous financial records and generate monthly reports for senior leadership.
- Provide cross-functional support to the finance team, including ad hoc projects and system improvements.
Essential Requirements:
Experience:
- 2+ years in accounting/finance, with demonstrated proficiency in Sage Accounting Software.
Skills:
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clinical and administrative teams.
Education:
- Accounting/finance qualification (e.g., CAP, CPA, or relevant diploma) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in healthcare, aged care, or similarly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of HIQA standards and HSE funding frameworks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
