Job description
DAOL is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our expanding team. As an Accounts Administrator you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, processing invoices, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. This individual will work closely with the company directors to support day-to-day operations and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable.
- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Verify invoice details, including pricing, quantities and terms.
- Prepare and process payments to suppliers
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable.
- Assist in generating and sending out customer invoices.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue payments, escalating to account manager as necessary.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues.
Bank Reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements to internal records on a regular basis.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
Financial Recordkeeping.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed.
General Administrative Support.
- Provide administrative assistance to finance function, including filing, data entry and document preparation.
- Assist in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Qualification in finance, accounting or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with the office products industry is a plus.
Position available immediately.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
