ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE / SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE (GL)

This role is suitable for a meticulous and hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, supporting financial operations and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day accounting processes.

You will support the Finance Manager in maintaining the General Ledger, preparing audit schedules and performing reconciliation of control accounts. You will also be involved in key finance activities such as annual budgeting, GST and tax reporting, monthly bank reconciliations and other accounting-related duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the General Ledger and ensuring accounting records are accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Perform reconciliation of control accounts and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Support annual budgeting exercises, including collation and preparation of financial data.
  • Assist in GST and tax reporting matters.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Handle other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Preferably at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in an MNC environment.
  • Good computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Financial System will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Good team player with a positive work attitude.
  • Able to work independently and perform well under pressure.
