Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting functions. Retail industry experience is highly preferred.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, particularly in accounts payable.
• Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to resolving discrepancies.

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig.
• Willing to accept a salary of Php 22,000++ based on experience and qualifications.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Retail industry experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify vendor invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to payments.
• Maintain an organized filing system for invoices, payment requests, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure payments are made within vendor terms.
• Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports for management review.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation and support.
• Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment issues or inquiries.
• Review and manage vendor contracts and payment terms, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned by management.
