We’re looking for an
Accounts Receivable Analyst
Based out of our Dublin, Ireland, office and reporting to the Technical Accounting Manager, you will be working with high-value transactions, volumes, and multiple currencies. With the support of an existing team, you will develop key knowledge of our end-to-end processes and systems to help us achieve operational excellence.
Data Quality is imperative for the smooth operations at Hamilton. Therefore, we need enthusiastic individuals to join our existing team to provide accurate and timely data capture. The team’s production and accuracy are critical to Hamilton’s financial reporting and is a vital function within our operation.
Hamilton Global Specialty is our multi-platform, specialty insurer operating primarily through a Lloyd's Syndicate and Dublin operating company with a managing general agency in the US.
What you will do
- Maintain daily cashbook records of bank receipts across multiple bank accounts and currencies
- Capture accurate and complete cash receipts in our underwriting system within pre-defined service level agreements (SLA’s)
- Query resolution within the underwriting team, or direct with Brokers
- Build relationships to assist with query resolution
- Effective tracking of updates in relation to query resolution and collection status
- Working closely with the Underwriting Operations team to reconcile policies in the UW system
- Prepare, monitor, and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Ad hoc reconciliation and project work General administrative duties

What you require for the role
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent numerical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Proven ability to work to deadlines and SLA’s
- Accurately capture and process data
- Team player but able to work towards individual targets
- Motivated and self-starter
- Previous experience of Eclipse UW is beneficial
