Accounts Receivable Specialist

Summary/Objective
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization.

Essential Functions

- Opens mail daily.

- Communicates with co-workers, management, clients regarding the invoicing of events.

- Generates invoices; credit memos and refund checks as needed.

- Applies customer payments upon receipt.

- Processes remote deposits for checks received.

- Reconciles payments received.

- Organizes all A/R documentation.

- Assists with audit functions.

- Manages company A/R email account and communicates with customers regarding payment documentation.

- Cross-trains with Accounts Payable Specialist on essential functions.

- Prepares Board of Directors minutes and facilitates Board of Directors communications.

Competencies

- Intermediate knowledge of Quickbooks Enterprise Desktop.

- Basic/intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

- Thoroughness and Accuracy.

- Ethical Conduct.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties demand.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
