About the Transition and Restorative Care Programs
The Transition and Restorative Care Programs sit within Aged Care Community Services as part of the Continuing Care Division at Austin Health. The programs are committed to providing high quality safe care for patients while helping them achieve their goals. The programs are provided in both residential and community settings.
About The Community Aged Care Services Department
The Community Aged Care Services sit within the Continuing Care Division, and include the Heidelberg Aged Care Assessment Service, Austin Health Transition Care Program and the Austin Health Restorative Care program.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Community Services, the role provides administrative support for the Transition Care, Restorative Care & Aged Care Assessment Programs to ensure support of team members and efficient running of the services.
A regular day will see you:
- Being an integral and valued member of our team
- Supporting the admission and discharge processes for our Transition Care and Restorative Care clients
- Working with the Aged Care Assessment Clinicians to support the referral and booking process
- Processing service orders and invoices
About you
You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex and changing environment
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Advanced computer skills
- Ability to use your initiative, work autonomously or as part of a team
