The Opportunity
We now have an amazing opportunity to be PARTT of something meaningful. As a key member of our Care Services team, you will play a hands-on role in keeping our SIL Accommodation homes, in-home care and community access services running smoothly. Based in Darwin, you will support our dedicated care team to ensure we are delivering high quality, individualised care and support.
Key Duties Include:
- Facilitating onboarding of participants
- Managing general administrative activities within the department
- Assisting with client intake processes and maintaining accurate records
- Coordinating appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Providing administrative support to staff and management as required
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
- Handling enquiries from clients, families, and external stakeholders
- Contributing to the development and improvement of administrative processes
- Assisting with procurement and inventory management as needed
Desired Skills and Experience
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced, proven administrator with a background in NDIS or related industries.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational abilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication skills and a compassionate approach when dealing with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment as well as independently when required
- Demonstrated proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office suite and database management systems
- An understanding of person-centred care principles and a commitment to promoting independence and dignity for individuals with disabilities
- Experience in coordinating appointments, travel arrangements, and other logistical support for clients or service users
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing needs and priorities within a dynamic care services environment
