Administrative Assistant / Medical Office Assistant (MOA)
(Smarthealthcare & Wellspring) – Remote, Full-Time
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant / Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to provide essential administrative and operational support to our Smart Healthcare Specialty, Wellspring, and Home Monitoring teams.
This full-time remote role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and passionate about healthcare administration. It’s an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience in healthcare coordination, operations, and patient support.
The successful candidate will work closely with both the Programme Head and Head of HR, developing strong coordination skills and gaining exposure to healthcare program administration and pharmacy operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
- Coordinate daily workflow for the Home Monitoring, Specialty Services, and Wellspring teams.
- Manage and track referrals, ensuring accurate processing and timely follow-up.
- Maintain patient and program records in accordance with privacy and compliance standards.
- Assist in preparing reports, trackers, and data summaries for leadership.
- Support internal and external communication between pharmacy teams, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Schedule meetings, manage shared calendars, and organize documentation.
- Provide general administrative assistance to ensure smooth program operations.
Healthcare Coordination
- Support pharmacy and nursing teams with patient coordination and referral management.
- Help navigate insurance and billing inquiries for public and private coverage.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring quality and workflow improvements within healthcare programs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Medical Office Administration (MOA), Health Office Administration, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in healthcare administration, customer service (English Voice), or pharmacy support (entry-level welcome; training provided).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Clear and professional English written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using online tools or EMR systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities.
- An asset: Experience or background as a licensed pharmacist would be considered an asset to this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php150.00 - Php200.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
