Adp Workforce Now Hr Payroll Administrator

ob Summary

The HR Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll and the administration of core HRIS ADP Workforce Now functions within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with payroll and labor laws and company policies, while supporting employees and management with payroll, benefits, and HR administrative matters.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

· Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried manufacturing and professional employees

· Accurately, calculates wages, overtime, shift premiums, bonuses, and statutory deductions

· Maintain payroll records, time and attendance data, and employee master files in ADP Workforcenow

· Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations

· Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation of weekly payroll, monthly benefit enrollment carrier connection files

· Manage benefits and payroll queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

HR Administration

· Assist with the administration of employee onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, documentation, and system updates

· Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and payroll systems

· Support benefits administration (medical aid, retirement funds, leave, etc.)

· Track leave, absenteeism, and attendance in coordination with production schedules

· Assist with disciplinary documentation, performance records, and policy administration

Compliance & Reporting

· Ensure adherence to employment legislation, company policies, and health & safety requirements

· Prepare statutory reports and submissions to relevant authorities, EEO-1, DOL Reports, headcount reports

· Support internal and external audits related to payroll and HR and 401k

Employee Support

· Act as a point of contact for payroll and HR-related queries from employees and supervisors

· Provide guidance on pay statements, deductions, leave balances, and HR policies

Qualifications & Experience

· Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, or related field

· Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in payroll and HR administration, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

· Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, experience with tax account set-ups, labor laws, and statutory requirements

· Experience with payroll systems, ADP Workforcenow systems is preferred

· Experience working with hourly-paid and shift-based employees is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Strong numerical and analytical skills

· Excellent organizational and time management abilities

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in MS Excel and HR/payroll software, ADP Workforcenow preferred

· Ability to work under pressure and meet strict payroll deadlines

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
