About the Job
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Advertising Sales Executive to join our Dublin team for ESM: European Supermarket Magazine, Europe’s industry magazine for the grocery retail sector.
What will you be doing?
As an Advertising Sales Executive, your role is to seek out and engage good-fit companies through strategic prospecting. To do this you will leverage European Supermarket Magazine’s existing leads as well as researching new opportunities to generate interest through calls, emails, and social.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Familiarise yourself with our publication and understand our product offerings.
- Perform high volume outbound prospecting through email campaigns, calls and platforms such as Sales Navigator and Salesforce.
- Respond promptly to inquiries by communicating with customers through various channels (phone, chat, email, video call).
- Consistently track and report on your work and opportunities.
- Schedule and proactively set-up meetings with qualified leads
- Maintain a positive, friendly and professional attitude towards prospective clients at all times.
- Connect and develop a strong, personable rapport with prospects.
- Work closely with the prospect to understand their needs.
- Implement and create outreach strategies for new lead generation methods.

- Strong organisation and time management
- Some previous sales experience, including in the area of sales prospecting
- Possess a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude.
- Target-driven and determined to exceed goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Generally, have internship experience or 1 year of professional work experience, ideally in marketing or sales.
