Agricultural Technician - Limerick & Clare

Job Function:

Agricultural Technician will be expected to perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on agricultural machinery and equipment for our customer base across the Limerick, Clare and Kerry region. While training will be provided experience and knowledge of the agricultural or heavy equipment sector is essential.

Essential Duties:

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and machinery
• Completes all reports and administration required for work
• Maintains a clean workstation, assists with overall workshop organisation
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Participates in Service Training Certification programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
• Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field
• Performs pre-delivery setup on new or used equipment.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 1+ year/s experience performing service repairs in agricultural/heavy machinery sector
• Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following approved technical procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to affect the repair of agricultural equipment.
• Ability to use standard computer applications
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Good customer relationship skills.
• Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Forklift and vehicle driving license preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €30,000.00-€42,000.00 per year
