As part of a strategic and international agri-trade environment, we are recruiting for our Industry & Commodities Product Line an Agriculture Europe Key Account Manager (F-M-D) on a permanent contract.
Reporting to Global Agri Trade Director, you will join a team of high-level experts based in Geneva, Switzerland or in one of our European agencies.
You will work closely with our operational teams and our clients within the framework of European agricultural commodity markets and strategic account development.
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
Your mission is to define, lead, and execute the strategic development of major European agricultural accounts, ensuring sustainable growth, market positioning, and long-term partnerships. Your role is essential to strengthening Bureau Veritas’ influence and expanding its footprint across the European agri ecosystem.
You will:
- Lead and structure the development of key European agricultural accounts at executive level
- Define and deploy strategic account plans aligned with customer and Bureau Veritas objectives
- Drive complex commercial negotiations and secure multi-country framework agreements
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across commodities, services, and geographies
- Deliver high-value market intelligence on agri commodities, regulations, and emerging trends
- Align and influence cross-functional and regional teams to ensure seamless execution
- Represent Bureau Veritas at senior industry forums, reinforcing our visibility and credibility
Agricultural trading expertise — Strong background in commodities or agri-trade with deep understanding of European market dynamics
Strategic sales leadership — Ability to manage large accounts, structure deals, and drive long-term growth
Influence and stakeholder management — Proven capability to align stakeholders in a complex matrix organization without direct authority
TIC business acumen — Understanding of testing, inspection, certification, and export-related operational environments
Agility in complex environments — Ability to operate in unstructured contexts, navigate ambiguity, and proactively build clarity
Executive presence — Credibility and professionalism to act as a trusted partner externally and internally
Collaborative leadership — Strong team player mindset, fostering connections and collective performance
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
You hold a degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in business, agriculture, international trade, or a related field from an engineering school or business school.
You have at least 10 years of experience , ideally with a strong interest in agricultural commodities and European markets.
