What tasks will you perform?

• Responsible for the accounting from A to Y (including the preparation of the closing of the various companies that are part of the PGS Group).
• Is responsible for the day-to-day and timely execution of (administrative) accounting tasks.
• Posting purchase invoices and drawing up sales invoices.
• Takes care of the VAT registration projects and VAT compliance formalities.
• Ensures the correct processing of intra-community transactions according to VAT rules and regulations.
• Performs customer and payment follow-ups.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly and year-end closings.
• Prepares external audits in collaboration with the Finance Manager and external accounting firm.
• Responsible for preparing the monthly reporting.
• Reports to the Finance Manager (Belgium & International).
• Continuously thinks along with improvement processes.
• Keep in touch with colleagues from other services to ensure smooth cooperation.
• Offers support to and contributes to the sustainable business values of the organization.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's/Graduate or Master's degree in Accountancy-Taxation, or equivalent by experience.
• You have at least a first work experience.
• You have a thorough knowledge of VAT regulations in an international environment.
• You handle Excel very well and is strong with numbers. Is willing to master our own ERP package.
• You have knowledge of ERP and/or Datev and Odoo software is a plus.
• Good knowledge of German and English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• You are an entrepreneur, have respect and are result-oriented.
• You are proactive and knows how to detect opportunities.
• You have a driving license B and is flexible when it comes to travel.
• Not only propagates the sustainable business values of the organization in the performance of the job, but also actively applies them in the roll-out of the process and any negotiations that lead to optimizations.
