Manager!
Are you passionate about public communications and digital engagement? Do you have a knack for creating compelling content and growing online communities? Our research group is looking for a part-time Content & Social Media Manager to help us expand and rebrand our digital presence; to share our groundbreaking
research with the world!
We are the 202Q-lab: a dynamic, multi-cultural research team dedicated to cutting-edge research in the exciting field of quantum technology. We are based at the department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience (MC2) at Chalmers University of Technology. We conduct both basic and applied science research. We publish
our scientific results in high-tier journals which are often highlighted in popular science press. See our research highlights:

We want our online presence to reflect the excitement of our frontier research!
This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves storytelling, social media, and communication, and is looking for a flexible, meaningful role.
What You'll Do
- Develop media strategies to increase our visibility among researchers, students, and industry professionals.
- Experiment with creative formats —videos, infographics, interviews—to make complex research more accessible.
- Manage & update our lab website with fresh, engaging content.
- Create and curatem social media content (Website, LinkedIn, BlueSky, Instagram, etc.) that highlights our research, lab culture, and achievements.
- Encourage & coordinate contributions from lab members, making content creation a collaborative effort.
- Track engagement & insights to refine our content strategy.
What We're Looking For
- A self-starter who can take initiative and drive engagement.
- Experience with content creation, social media management, or digital marketing (experience in science communication is a plus!).
- Good writing and editing skills with a keen eye for storytelling.
- Familiarity with web management (e.g., WordPress, Wix, or similar platforms) and bonus if basic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.).
- Excitement for communicating complex ideas in an engaging way.
