Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job Purpose

As a small, locally owned and operated property management company in Denver looking for a qualified maintenance technician. You will work alongside a property manager and leasing staff, and together you will have primary responsibility for ~100 units across several properties in Denver and Aurora, Colorado.

Duties and responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to maintenance requests as directed, building upkeep, and make-readies. This position will perform preventative maintenance and apartment turns, diagnose problems and repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, dry wall, appliances etc., and ensure that work orders are responded to professionally and promptly. Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness and work with outside contractors as needed.

Emergency On Call - Nobody likes it, but it is a part of the position. On-call responsibility is shared with other maintenance technicians.

Qualifications

· Minimum 2-year experience in all areas of apartment maintenance is required

· High School degree or equivalent

· A current driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance

· Must be able to use company software to manage and record work

· Ability to lift 50+ pounds

· Ability to be standing and walking much of the day

· Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.

· Own a reliable vehicle and tools

· Use of a company provided phone

· Solid work ethic

· Positive attitude

· Good verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $25.32 - $32.45 per hour
