Job Title: Experienced Painter (Spray Rig Experience Required)

Location: Hampton Roads / 7 Cities Area, VA

Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and experienced painter to join our team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable operating a spray rig, able to work independently, and capable of following directions to complete jobs efficiently and with high-quality results.

This position involves residential painting, rental property turns, and general maintenance painting throughout the Hampton Roads area.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain paint spray rigs and related equipment
• Perform interior and exterior painting
• Prepare surfaces including sanding, patching, caulking, and masking
• Maintain clean and professional job sites
• Follow job instructions and project specifications
• Work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience using paint spray equipment (we provide)
• Ability to work independently while following instructions without constant supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as directed
• Reliable transportation
• Basic painting tools preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with residential repaint work and rental property turns
• Knowledge of proper prep work and finishing techniques
• Dependable and punctual
• Experience painting occupied or recently vacated rental units
• Knowledge of drywall repair

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding
• Standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed
• Some flexibility for emergency or short-notice painting jobs
• Company vehicle to drive to assignments
• Opportunity for consistent work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
