Application Development Manager – Web & Cloud Integration

We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Application Development Manager to lead our global development and integration initiatives. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional teams, driving agile delivery, and overseeing the development of scalable applications using Vue.js, Node.js, and React.js. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in resource management, agile methodologies, and cloud technologies, with proven success in improving sprint velocity and reducing defect rates over time.

• Lead and manage a globally distributed team of developers across multiple time zones.
• Oversee the design, development, and integration of applications using Vue.js, Node.js, and React.js.
• Implement and optimize agile delivery practices using Jira or Azure DevOps, focusing on sprint velocity and quality improvement.
• Drive the adoption and integration of GitHub Copilot to enhance developer productivity and code quality.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
• Manage development pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and release planning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across front-end and back-end development.
• Ensure seamless integration with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Oversee application performance, scalability, and security within Azure cloud environments.
• Monitor team performance, identify skill gaps, and support professional development.

• Proven experience managing application development teams, including remote and globally distributed members.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Vue.js, Node.js, and React.js.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for agile project management and CI/CD.
• Demonstrated success in implementing GitHub Copilot within a development team.
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services, including resource provisioning and monitoring.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow platform integration and workflow automation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of improving sprint velocity and reducing bug incidence over time.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with PL/SQL, Oracle databases, and MongoDB is a differentiating factor.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in Agile, Azure, or relevant development technologies are a plus.
