Appointment Setter With Sales Experience

DESCRIPTION:
The Appointment-setter role is responsible for making outbound calls to existing customers of our clients and scheduling appointments for them. These are established B2B or B2C relationships. This is NOT cold calling.

As an Appointment Setter, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by setting appointments for our clients. You must be able to effectively communicate with and engage customers in both scripted and unscripted conversations. Team members enjoy working from home on a flexible schedule that works for them. No sales involved.

DUTIES:

  • Conduct warm calls to existing customers to generate appointments with their account representatives.
  • Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner to promote products or services.
  • Utilize effective sales techniques to overcome objections and secure appointments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all calls and appointments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Must be located in the United States
  • Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or telemarketing preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pleasant and professional phone voice
  • Ability to effectively navigate and utilize CRM systems, Microsoft and Google software tools, such as excel spreadsheets and word documents.
  • Maintain attendance standards (i.e. clocking in and out for shifts on time, staying within allotted break times, etc.)
  • Ability to meet and maintain company KPIs, including appointments and calls per hour
  • Comfortable making outbound calls to existing and potential customers
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets and deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Must have your own PC or laptop with Windows 11 or higher (no Mac, iOS, etc.), 2-way headset with USB connection, dual monitors, and high-speed internet access.
  • Able to participate in class training via Zoom
  • ALL candidates must be willing to submit to a background check contingent on hire.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, not a requirement

***Previous appointment-setting experience is REQUIRED.

Experience working in a call center (outbound calling), sales and/or telemarketing experience is PREFERRED.
