Apprentice Carpenter

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry working alongside skilled professionals, while having the opportunity to grow within the company

Duties
- Assist carpenters in various tasks such as demo, framing, finishing, insulation, drywall, cabinetry, painting, tile work, flooring etc.
- Help restore and assemble structures under the guidance of experienced carpenters
- Engage in material delivery, site cleanup/organization and heavy lifting as required during projects
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete assigned duties

Experience
- Previous experience in a renovation-related role is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team environment
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in carpentry
- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks including heavy lifting
- Familiarity with basic tools used in carpentry work

Work is around the Edmonton area so a valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
