As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople, learning the practical and theoretical aspects of plumbing and mechanical systems. About the job:

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, hard-working candidates to join our team:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and mechanical systems (e.g., pipework, heating, drainage, and water supply systems)
• Learn and apply plumbing techniques under the supervision of qualified plumbers
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Comply with health and safety standards on all job sites
• Use and maintain hand and power tools
• Participate in on-the-job and off-the-job training as part of the SOLAS plumbing apprenticeship programme
• Work both independently and as part of a team across a variety of job sites

Do you have what it takes?

• Must be registered or eligible to register for the SOLAS Plumbing Apprenticeship Programme
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent is preferred (not essential)
• Strong interest in plumbing and mechanical services
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Full clean driver’s licence is an advantage but not essential
• Safe Pass & Manual Handling certificates essential
