Scope of Work

As an independent architectural designer on our platform, your responsibilities may include:

• Developing conceptual and schematic design solutions based on client needs.
• Producing detailed construction drawings and 3D models using CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Preparing floor plans, elevations, sections, and specifications.
• Drafting professional proposals and statements of work that clearly define deliverables, scope, fees, and schedules.
• Quoting project pricing based on scope, complexity, and location—ensuring alignment with platform standards.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure constructability and code compliance.
• Communicating with clients throughout the design process and making adjustments as necessary.
• Conducting site assessments or virtual reviews (when applicable).
• Adhering to applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications, Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (required)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a design firm or independent practice
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills, technical knowledge, and project experience

Software Proficiency

• AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp (required)
• Adobe Creative Suite and other 3D modeling tools (preferred)

Required Skills & Attributes

• Proficiency in building codes and construction documentation
• Experience preparing fee proposals and scope of work narratives
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Time and project management skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating virtually
• Leadership and team coordination abilities (a plus)
