Responsible for:

  • Accurate completion of Books of Accounts as per defined periodicity & timelines for scoped Area entities for both APMM and Local Statutory books

  • Ensure adherence to ERP and OneStream close schedules, for monthly, quarterly & annual cycles

  • Ensure right documentation prior to book close, and ensure one-offs and contentious accounting issues are discussed and aligned before signoff

  • Adhere to balance sheet review cycles, and ensure appropriate substantiation and reporting of exposure

  • Liaise with CoEs like Intercompany and Cash/bank as required to resolve entity accounting issues

  • Perform controls attestation as required by control performers within the GRC Archer tool

  • Own the conduct of Statutory Audit for scoped entities along with Group Audit with respect to timely completion, filing and mitigation of audit observations. Support other Audits like Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit, or any other Audit as initiated by different Authorities

  • Drive adherence to SOPs, and provide inputs to FPOs/GPL organisation for development of SOPs for new business verticals

  • Translate Organization objectives into actions and drive these by developing and maintaining an engaged team

  • Transition project management activities, finance platform migration management activities

  • Key Measures - Transition project and new platform migration project go-live successful


Accountable for:

  • Area Accounting compliance

  • Improvement and standardization of financial processes, new process & system implementation

  • Supporting team by providing required training and equipment to deliver expected outcome


Consulted for:

  • New IFRS rollouts & implications on ways of working

  • Accounting implications for process changes

  • Accounting implications for new business/mergers

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive, relevant professional experience in finance or accounting

  • CPA qualification preferred, with demonstrated experience in audit and end-to-end accounting operations

  • Proven people leadership capability, including managing and developing teams with at least 5 direct reports

  • Experience collaborating effectively within diverse, multicultural, and multinational environments

  • Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to think strategically and operate at an enterprise level

  • Demonstrated strength in stakeholder management, building trust-based relationships across functions and levels

  • Documented success in driving process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives

  • Proactive, collaborative, and values-driven professional with strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly, respectfully, and confidently in meetings
