Area Sales Manager ( Western Canada )

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across Western Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a proactive leader who can motivate a team and deliver exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets.

Duties

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve Area and regional sales goals.
• Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions for senior management.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional strategies with sales objectives.
• Conduct training sessions for the sales team to improve product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company’s products.

Skills

• Proven experience in sales management or a related field, with a strong track record of achieving targets.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in sales management is preferred.
• Hydraulic and Fluid power experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
