Assistant Accounting Manager

Job Description:

Month-End Close

Lead and coordinate closing activities within accounting team and business units
Review financial transactions prepared by accounting executives under accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger teams
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
Prepare and analyse financial statements and provide commentaries
Group reporting via Stravis

Accounting operations and controls

Manage payments, cashflow and liaison with banks for banking matters
Review the work of accounts executives, including AP/AR aging and balance sheet schedules
Management of chart of accounts and cost centers
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.

Statutory filing

Lead the annual statutory audit, prepare financial statements and standard forms
Timely preparation of GST and WHT filings
Support tax team on corporate tax filing, assist with tax audits and other tax-related inquiries.
