The Role

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Catering, you will be a key contact for clients, ensuring seamless event execution and exceeding guest expectations. This role requires strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections, manage client communication, and address client needs promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), distribute group resumes to relevant departments, and ensure timely preparation for all events.
  • Maintain accurate revenue pace reports, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. Assist in developing sales promotions and menus. Build and expand the sales account database. Conduct market research on competitors.
  • Manage bookings in OPERA, maintain strong working relationships with all departments (especially F&B), and ensure adherence to deadlines and processes.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, forecasts, and other relevant information. Participate in and/or lead meetings as required.
  • Propose ideas for upgrading facilities and services to enhance the guest experience.

Talent Profile

  • Diploma in Hospitality or Events Management (or relevant).
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field, with at least 1 year supporting a leadership team.
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken English; local language a plus) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel property management systems (Opera preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the food and beverage industry.
