Assistant Executive Housekeeper/ Manager Housekeeping

An Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for supporting the Executive Housekeeper with the cleanliness and upkeep of the entire hotel which includes public area, rooms. This position oversees the daily operation and control of the Housekeeping Department in compliance with the housekeeping policy and Hilton International. This position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper.


What will I be doing?

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations
  • Routine inspections in all housekeeping areas, including public areas.
  • Supervise housekeeping measures which service the health and safety of team members and guests.
  • Report on furnishings and installations ensuring they are kept in good condition.
  • Ensure an appropriate standard of conduct and management of the housekeeping team.
  • Communicate with Executive Housekeeper on all relevant matters pertaining to the operation of the department, development of the team and opportunities to wow the guest.
  • Deputise in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
  • This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday.

  • Housekeeping experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector in a managerial or supervisory capacity
  • A successful track record of supervising a team

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • IT proficiency
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work on rotating roster
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Familiar with Property Management Systems, in particular OnQ
