Key Responsibilities:
Creating an Exceptional Customer Experience
- Lead by example to ensure every customer is greeted with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine care.
- Train and coach team members on attentive service, personalized interactions, and active listening.
- Anticipate guest needs and find creative ways to exceed expectations—from remembering favorite orders to celebrating special occasions.
- Handle guest feedback professionally, turning any challenge into an opportunity for service recovery.
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring the restaurant is always clean, inviting, and ready to impress.
Team Leadership & Development
- Inspire, train, and motivate staff to uphold Blake’s BBQ standards of excellence.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, dependability, and trust among employees.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development, ensuring team members grow their skills and deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Lead pre-shift meetings to set daily goals and encourage a positive team dynamic.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Implement and enforce food safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control to maintain efficiency.
- Step in where needed—whether at the counter, kitchen, or customer area—to keep operations running seamlessly.
- Maintain efficient time management practices to ensure both employees and customers experience timely, professional service.
Sales & Community Engagement
- Work with the leadership team to increase guest loyalty, repeat business, and overall revenue.
- Engage with the community by building relationships with guests and participating in local events.
- Promote seasonal specials, new menu items, and loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience.
- Find creative ways to surprise and delight guests, such as offering a complimentary side for first-time visitors or handwritten thank-you notes for regulars.
