Assistant Property Manager - Multifamily

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Property Manager to support the turnaround and daily operations of an affordable, multi-family housing community. This role works closely with the Property Manager and ownership team to ensure smooth operations, excellent resident relations, and strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily property operations and ensure a well-maintained community.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to complete work orders promptly.
• Assist with leasing activities: show units, process applications, and help maintain high occupancy.
• Support rent collection efforts and track delinquencies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records.
• Communicate regularly with the Property Manager and ownership regarding leasing, collections, maintenance, and resident concerns.
• Collaborate with on-site staff to support smooth operations and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in property management, preferably in Class C multi-family or affordable housing communities.
• Proficiency with property management software and basic financial reporting.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable with numbers, data tracking, and administrative tasks.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
