Job Description:
Role Overview:
The Credit Review & Order Releasing Analyst is responsible for evaluating and monitoring the creditworthiness of clients and managing the order release process within the Europe region for Microchip Direct accounts. This position involves conducting detailed credit assessments, reviewing financial statements, analyzing market and sector risks, and ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the analyst will oversee the timely release of customer orders, ensuring that all credit and risk controls are met before processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit reviews of new and existing clients, including financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to determine creditworthiness.
- Prepare detailed credit review reports and present findings to management and relevant committees.
- Monitor credit exposures and ensure adherence to established credit limits and policies.
- Collaborate with European process owner, sales, customers, and AR analyst to facilitate credit approvals and resolve issues.
- Oversee the order release process, ensuring that customer orders are released in accordance with credit policies and within agreed timelines.
- Review and approve orders on credit hold, working closely with internal teams to resolve outstanding credit issues.
- Communicate with customers regarding credit status, order holds, and required documentation.
- Stay updated on European regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all credit review and order releasing processes.
- Support the development and implementation of credit risk models and rating systems.
- Participate in portfolio reviews
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all credit review and order releasing activities.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Atleast 2 years of experience in credit analysis, credit review, order management, or risk management, preferably in the European market.
- Experience with order management systems and credit hold/release processes.
- Proficiency in financial statement analysis and credit risk modeling.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English;
