Associate Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on both general and specialized dentistry. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed in all aspects of patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options and provide education on oral health.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques.

Skills

• Proficient in dental terminology and medical terminology.
• Experience with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and medical imaging techniques.
• Strong skills in patient care, patient assessment, and infection control practices.
• Ability to perform root canal therapy and other complex procedures safely and effectively.
• Experience in dental clinic or office settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with dental fabrication processes is a plus.
