Associate Dentist – Growth-Focused, Modern Dental Practice

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and various dental procedures. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed in accordance with industry standards.
• Provide patient education on oral health and preventive care.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques.

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry and comfort working with children.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and medical imaging practices.
• Ability to perform root canal therapy and other complex procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation.
