As an Associate Mako Product Specialist at Stryker, you will help improve orthopedic surgeries around the world and help us achieve our mission of making healthcare better.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping surgeons use Stryker’s Mako robot– our newest product used in robotic-arm assisted surgery. Acting as a helpful source for all things related to the Mako, you’ll provide clinical support to all end-users, offer guidance and assistance during surgical procedures, and resolve technical product and service issues as needed.
What you will do
- Train surgeons and operating room staff in the operation of the company's robotic arm applications, ensuring ideal placement and precision.
- Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans, assisting surgeons with implant planning, sizing, and positioning.
- Document and report surgery support and educational events, providing feedback to improve products, documentation, and methodologies.
- Maintain and control local consigned equipment, instrument, implant, and disposables inventories.
- Support sales activities, including road-show demonstrations and potential customer site visits.
- Train physicians and hospital personnel on the use of the system, accessories, disposables, and implants.
- Provide prompt and accurate complaint reports in compliance with quality system requirements.
- Solve product problems for customers promptly and efficiently.
What you need:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred:
- Minimum 1 year relevant work experience in a sales and/or technical environment (medical, pharmaceutical, healthcare industry)
- Previous experience in a sales or technical product environment, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Experience with clinical training and education programs
$70,400.00 - $98,000.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
