ABOUT THE POSITION
Job Title: Associate Quantitative Developer, Intern
Manager: Senior Quantitative Analyst
Employment: Fall 2024 Internship
Location: New York, NY or Fort Lauderdale, FL
Salary: $100,000 prorated annual salary
This is an internship designed to give passionate technologists with an interest in financial markets an opportunity to play a role in developing key technology systems that support our team of investment analysts and portfolio managers.

This is a highly visible and impactful internship role that can drive technology improvements across a core suite of internally developed systems which serve to amplify our investment team’s effectiveness and efficiency. For those early on in their technology careers, this can be an enriching opportunity to work alongside highly talented and passionate investment professionals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, all of whom work together towards creating exceptional investment outcomes for our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate closely with our quantitative team of analysts and developers to help deliver enhancements to a suite of proprietary technology that amplifies the performance of our fundamental investment team.
- Work together with technology users (investment analysts and portfolio managers) in collecting system and feature needs.
- Help improve our codebase documentation.
- Participate in group discussions and contribute your technical insights and expertise for issues we are working on solving.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Financial Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, Object Oriented Programming concepts.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Git.
- Experience building production grade software is highly desirable.
- Previous projects using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS or similar frameworks.
- Hands on experience with Plotly Dash (Python) framework is a plus.
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing (Azure) is a plus.
