Asst. Head Housekeeper/Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to help lead our housekeeping team along side the Head Housekeeper in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are impeccably clean and welcoming for guests. This role is essential in upholding our commitment to exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimize workflow and maintain cleanliness across all areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Stay updated on industry best practices in housekeeping management, floor care, and custodial services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests.
