Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Automatic Pool Cover Technician to join our team. This position involves working in the field as part of a small crew servicing existing automatic pool covers and installing new electric and hydraulic automatic pool cover systems. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.

Duties & Essential Job Functions

• Service and repair existing automatic pool cover systems.
• Install automatic pool covers on new and existing swimming pools.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues.
• Collaborate with other technicians to solve complex service problems.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally.
• Other Functions & Responsibilities
• Maintain inventory and parts stock in assigned service vehicle.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, or related trades is preferred but not required.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.

Technicians work outdoors daily at customer locations and must be comfortable performing physical labor throughout the workday.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• Typical start time: 7:00 AM
• Typical end time: 5:00 PM
• Overtime opportunities may be available
