Automotive Service Advisor

Automotive Service Advisor | Thunder Bay, ON

As a key member of the Gore Motors Honda team, the Service Advisor brings to life the Automotive Service Experience for the Customer. Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for creating great first impressions and to guide the customers through the maintenance scheduling process and repair of their vehicles.

As an expert in Honda automobile products, the Service Advisor acquires & maintains all relevant product knowledge, provides personalized service to our clients, and ensures high customer satisfaction standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.
• Schedule appointments and manage service records using computer systems for accurate data entry.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service options, pricing, and recommendations.
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

Qualifications:
Grade 12 High School Diploma

College certificate or additional courses would be an asset.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in industry preferred.

A fundamental understanding of automotive mechanical systems.

Customer service and computer experience required.

Salary: Competitive salary; dependent on experience.
