B2b Key Account Manager

Role Introduction:

The AA’s Business Services division has grown considerably in recent years and provides roadside assistance services to a growing number of key clients. We are currently recruiting a Key Account Manager to support our growing customer base.

This role will primarily be relationship management of The AA’s largest accounts, development of new large account business, tender completion through legal, financial and operational coordination.

Work location: Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

As the AA business continues to evolve, so too will the responsibilities of this role evolve and change over time. The primary responsibilities and focus areas for this role will include the following:

  • Key B2B customer relationship management and support.
  • Account planning for renewal and new business growth.
  • Compiling tender responses, working with legal, finance operations and senior management to ensure alignment of the business proposition to the customer needs.
  • Monthly account review meeting with key customers and presentation of customer critical KPI performance.
  • Liaise with representatives of the association of European breakdown providers, ARC Europe, to both update them on our recent developments and receive updates from them on pertinent matters relating to upcoming or current bids for contracts for breakdown provision across Europe.

The Candidate should have the following:

Minimum qualifications, experience & skills:

  • Experience with sales, particularly B2B, ideally on large scale accounts.
  • Proven experience with new business development is essential with demonstrable problem-resolution and negotiation skills.
  • A third-level qualification in a business discipline would be a distinct advantage.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer-facing roles is essential
  • Automotive industry knowledge an advantage. Excellent presentation skills are a requirement, as is demonstrable customer relationship management experience
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms is required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Resilient and can cope with high pressure work environment.
  • Individual with strong people skills who will be a role model for the AA teams and behaviours.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to €70,000.00 per year
