Maze Back of House Description

The Back of House team is responsible for maintaining the heartbeat of Maze’s operations. Their duties include:

• Cleaning & Sanitation: Ensure all workstations, bar areas, and storage spaces remain clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift. Handle nightly deep cleaning tasks.
• Organization & Prep: Restock mixers, garnishes, ice, juices, syrups, bar tools, and supplies. Maintain proper rotation (FIFO) and keep all product areas orderly.
• Bartender Support: Assist bartenders by running drinks, clearing glassware, prepping ingredients, refilling ice, replacing kegs/bottles, and keeping service flowing smoothly during rush periods.
• Hookah Production: Prepare, pack, and deliver hookahs promptly and safely. Monitor coal rotation and maintain hookah cleanliness and quality.
• Glassware & Dish Duties: Wash, dry, and restock all glassware. Ensure no chipped or damaged glassware returns to service.
• Kitchen / Light Food Support (if needed): Assist with basic kitchen prep, plating, stocking, trash removal, and maintaining proper cleaning standards.

The Back of House team ensures Maze operates at its highest standard—clean, efficient, elevated, and guest-ready at all times.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
